A big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to cho and samo !!!!!  Hope u have a great one in HK girl..  And samo, i'll be seeing u tomorrow so i'll be able to wish u a happy birthday in person :D

This week has been going by pretty fast ..a big change from last week.  ACF camping is gonna be quite different from the kind of camping i'm used to.  No schedule... wow.  Time to get some much needed relaxing done...!!   

Hung out with Caitlin and Victoria again tonight ...we dont do it enough.  I love hanging out with those girls.  They make me laugh so hard!  We took unecessary trips to winners and walmart and then stopped at Swiss Chalet only to walk in and walk right back out.. then decided to go to Mc D's instead.  There we saw an old high school friend.  Well for Caitlin and i ...an old grade school friend too.  Gosh it was weird seeing her ..someone i haven't been in contact with for soooo long.  Catching up like that.. in a sort of awkward way.  Actually it wasn't that awkward because it wasn't just me and her..and plus she was really nice, we were pretty good friends at one time.  She even gave us free cones! 

I found out about another sandwich death too (sandwich is the name of my highschool).  Seriously.. someone dies from my highschool (either current student or alumni) every year.  It's always someone i hardly know tho.  But still ..it affects me in one way or another.  This guy had a brain tumor.  Only 22 years old.  I don't know what else to say.. it's so sad.

This month is slowly coming to an end ...the last month of summer will begin soon.  Wow.. how much time i've wasted.  So many plans not followed through ..sigh.  Can i make it all up in the next month?  

First time watching a korean movie.. was a pretty good experience.  I recommend anyone to watch Lover's Concerto.  It's a good movie because it kinda fools you into thinking it's about love...but in the end it's really about true friendship.  I won't say anymore... go watch it ppl.

At accountability last night with Angela and Christine...we finally talked about real stuff.  We'd been kinda avoiding getting serious for awhile but the Lord finally prompted us to open up with each other.  For me, i was too busy trying to fool myself into thinking everything was ok...but it never worked.  What happened to me?  I used to like getting stuff out in the open ...i found it so beneficial.  I've turned into a coconut lol... hard to open up.  Or was i always a coconut?  I guess everyone is like that tho...  Choosing what or what not to disclose about yourself..  It's a given.  I think ppl might see me as an open person.. but really, i only let out enough information to make someone think i've really just shared something personal with them.  The human mind is so amazing.  God made us in His image...  hmm what does that really mean?  Now i'm just throwing out random thoughts.. haha.  Ok i'll leave u all with that ...

Fun in the Son was a success last night!  Good turn out...  The skit turned out very well.  That's what a 2 hour first time hard core rehearsal will do for u haha...  I defeated the Lord of the Blings.. (or King of the Bling ? whatever...lol)

Gonna watch a long awaited movie tonight... lover's concerto.  It better be as good as u say wilk..  Ahh movies.. i've missed them.  I kinda started back up on them recently after awhile of nothingness.  Ocean's 11 ..good one.  Butterfly Effect ..kinda disturbing but ok i guess.  Stayed up late last night to watch it since it was due this morning and now i'm suffering the consquences.  *yawn*  Ok maybe i'll go fall asleep in front of the tv now.  But that never happens to me.. haha i'm always too into what i'm watching :P   

I had a nice evening of paeting last night...didn't go anywhere.  It was the first time this week.  Just had dinner at home (yuuummmy steak my mom made!  *drool*) and watched a lot of tv haha.  It was great.  By the end of the night i didn't feel tired ne more... but i do now again.. sigh.

So i decided to go ACF camping on civic holiday weekend.  Whoa that's next weekend.. oh man.  It's coming up so quick i didn't even realize.  I wanted to go so much when i first heard about it..but then the feeling faded for awhile.  Partly because i figured it'd be too hard get there and back considering i live in windsor and the camping place is past TO.  There was the money issue too..but now i have a job.  I guess i was also feeling like i didn't want to leave home again.  I know i said b4 (did i say? dont remember) that i felt restless just staying in windsor all the time.  But now..it's been awhile and i feel comfortable just staying here again.  Like i'm settled once again.  No need to be a nomad ne more lol.  But i told rob yes this week ne ways.  And now ..i'm thinkin about it more and i'm REALLY looking fwd to it!  I'm crazy for putting myself through another mosquito feasting fest..especially since mine are kind of fading already... but i think it'll be worth it.  Haven't seen ACF ppl in soo long.. it's gonna be good to hang out with you guys again! 

Been pretty busy these last few days.   It's such a drastic change from my days b4 which consisted of waking up at 11 or 12 and then proceeding to do NOTHING all day.  I think that explains why i'm so tired all the time now.  All i wanna do is lie here ...

Work has been ...ok.  I've just been doing stuff like admin work and i started doing phone surveys for the association.  I have to speak CHINESE to some ppl who don't understand english!  Man it is a struggle.  I have the "yums" on piece of paper for me.  I feel like those telemarketers who have those scripts to read from ..except mine isn't a script, it's just "translation".  LoL.  I was too scared to speak chinese yesterday so i just called ppl with caucasian names or ppl who had actual english names (instead of kam wah or shi king or whatever) therefore implying that they know how to speak english.  But today i started calling the chinese speaking "loe yun gas" and i actually got through it!  Mind you..they were probably laughing at my accent and stuttering on the other side of the line...hahaha.  But i dont care... it's just over the phone!

Fun in the Son is this saturday...  It's an annual thing we do following up camp.  Worship, skit, games...fun fun fun!  We worked on the skit last night...haha it's gonna be funny.  At least WE think so lol.  More skit stuff tonight after watching Chasing Liberty with angela...  We're gonna watch it despite everyone's warnings of how sucky it is.  Yep that's us lol...

I have a mosquito bite on my inner thigh that looks like a duck.  Or actually..it could look like a baby dinosaur.  The mosquitos at Rondeau are vicious.  They even suck you through your clothes.  Smadly ... the mosquito magnet did not work.  Good thing we can return it and get the $450 back. 
 
I'm kind of sad to know that I'll have to go to work tomorrow... and it's only the first day!  I think i'm too used to having nothing to do.  Haha...  i'm so bad.  I want a job and i get it ..but then i dont really want it.  What is wrong with me.  I need to learn how to appreciate these unexpected blessings from God.  Time for a different perspective ...

I just told Dor today on msn that i haven't been able to find a job... And i just found out today.. i have one! Dang.. God works in such majorly weird ways. I get the job when i stop looking. *Shrug*

They called me during my camp meeting. It's the ECCCA one...i had an iterview for it awhile ago. That's why i thought... actually i knew i didn't get it. Because they said i'd hear by tuesday and it's like more than 3 weeks past tuesday now. Weird.. my guess is that they hired someone but that person didn't work out.. Or they got a late start filling their student positions this year. Oh well..i'm not complaining if it leaves me with a job :D

Goin shopping for camp food/stuff tomorrow.. That's always a pain..i'm kinda dreading it. Have to prep and pack all the stuff too..sigh. *i'll get through it* LoL.. practice is after. Lookin fwd to that. Camp is the day after tomorrow.. and mosquito free this year!! Wooohoooo......

We finally did our accountability tonight after so long of not doing it. It was good. It feels like the 3 of us haven't talked like that in a long time. It's never just the 3 of us ne more... And the conversation flows so easily..no matter what we talk about. Whether it's about being able to fill a timmy's medium iced cap cup with pee (LOL!) or serious things. It's great.

Well it looks like i'll have to post on xanga everyday now.. due to our bet. Christine, Angela and i made a bet ..who can post every single day AND about something cleverly stupid (now that's an oxymoron if i ever saw one) or funny. It's gonna need some thought lol.

Things are slowing getting crossed off on my To Do list for camp. YaY. I'm actually excited for it despite all the reponsibility. The possibility ACF camping still looms over my head. To go or not to go...hmmm. I need to find a ride back from TO. Or back from london. I'm too cheap to pay for greyhound hahaha. We'll just have to see.

AAAHHH SWITCHFOOT WAS AMAZING!!!!!! It was my first concert and boy was it a great one! They sounded soo good live. We got a pretty good spot on the floor. Front and to the right of the stage. Really close but the view was just sorta blocked by a stupid cage. I took a some pics and a lot of videos that will be posted tomorrow. Victoria and I stayed after to meet the band and get pics and autographs. Well worth the wait!! Here are the fruits of our labour ...

Their cds were selling for only 15 bucks so i bought their second one. New Way to Be Human...it's really good. Agh i love their music. I can't get over how good they were! If they ever come back ..i'm there for sure.

The rest of the weekend was spent packing/moving. Went to HYPE on sat too and had the opportunity to teach them for sunday school today. I must say that was a refreshing experience. Doing it made me realize that i kinda miss leading a bible study and doing stuff like that. And they're a good bunch to teach. Very responsive...love ya guys!

Moving became sorta stressful. We had so much crap in our apt. I come from a family of pack rats. It's a curse. Had to take MULTIPLE trips. And on one of them... we had an unfortunate mishap. It involves a large queen mattress and some faulty bungee cords. Nuff said..sigh. THANX SO MUCH CHO FOR LETTING US STORE STUFF AT YOUR PLACE!! U are a lifesaver...i mean it! And props to Samo for using his muscles to help us move too :)

My parents decided to sacrifice bringing me a seat in the van so we could fit more stuff to move...sigh. Here is me crammed in the back with all of our stuff.

Got together with Victoria and Caitlin tonight..they just left a little while ago. It's always fun hanging out with those girls. An innocent walk to baskin robbins led to a crazy shopping spree at walmart and shopping cart ride in the parking lot. HeHe...pics to come.

Switchfoot is THIS THURSDAY! The day after tomorrow!!! WaahhhaaAHH! It came so quick. But i'm not THAT excited for it yet. Maybe i should listen to Switchfoot from now until then...like all day haha. Gonna be spending the weekend in london too most probably... Agh i have no internet there. Bummer. Oh well ..i get to see ppl like Sam..josh.. shaggy..and thomas? And prolly go to HYPE too! YaY.

Toronto trip was fun yesterday! There's somethin about being in a car with your friends for 8 hours ...good times. We hit up most of the asian central places i think. Stopped at almost all chinese movies stores and most hello kitty infested gift shops. Hahaha... pics are up already. Those sun visors you TO ppl wear are quite amusing. But can u actually see through them? We tried a couple out and they seemed pretty hard to see through... kinda dangerous when u drive eh? Mmmm got to eat sushi for dinner and some good bbt afterwards. Toronto is definitely good for the food... Didn't get a chance to see ne one... called up Dren tho. But she was too far away to come meet up with us :( Oh well there will be a next time...

The Notebook was definitely a GREAT movie. It's a must see for all girls out there! I still can't decide if it was better than A Walk tho.. They are both awesome movies lol. But yea.. the book is always better.

My parents are back for the weekend! Haven't seen my mom in sooooo long. YaY!

A few of us got together last night to "jam". Well it was supposed to be Wilkie and Andrew teaching me and Angela how to play guitar. But it turned out to be ... well i dunno. We just ended up goofing around.. taking turns playing the chords to random worship songs. Well random and EASY. I Give Thanks.. Blessed Be Your Name.. In the Secret etc. It was a really fun time. I have some vids and pics to show for our night's work lol. Coming to my imagestation soon...

Soooo... wilk proposes we take a day trip to Toronto tomorrow. Objections..? NONE. Hahaha...it'll be good to get outta town if only just for a day. And SWITCHFOOT IS A WEEK FROM TODAY!! AAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!

Oooh yea...almost forgot. What kinda Canadian citizen would i be if i didn't sing a birthday song to our AWESOME country?
